Lauren & Tom at The Aboretum

You may be wondering if this is a new wedding venue and I guess in a way it sort of is.  Lauren and Tom had looked around on where to hold their reception for ages and then had the inspired idea of holding it within Lightwater Arboretum.  A secret haunt for the dog walkers this a beautiful hidden treasure complete with lakes and fake ruins (but good fake ruins I must add).  So Lauren and Tom got permission, got a marquee and had the makings of a wonderfully unique wedding reception.  Styling the reception along the lines of an English country picnic guests were greeted with scones, cake and tea and then an evening hog roast.

The sweet table for the kids and no doubt the odd adult too

A lovely idea this one.  Write your message to the couple and hang on the tree, building up a tree full of leafy messages to keep forever
