Helena & Hamish at Chateau des Conde, Vallery, France
I've been waiting some time to catch up and post this wonderful wedding from France. Destination weddings always offer something new and inspiring and this one was no different. An amazing location to hold your wedding in, the Chateau des Conde was made up of not only the Chateau itself but three other buildings to house your guests and get ready in, as well as a swimming pool and special feature rooms. There is even a beautiful church literally just up the road so you can walk to your service if you wish. It is down near(ish) Paris so we made a trip of it by staying in Rheims overnight on the way down. Hopefully you'll forgive me the few extra pictures from this one and I must thank the gorgeous couple and their families for looking after us so well.
View across to the couples own private building
Staying at the florists overnight gave the unusual advantage of seeing the flowers all together in one go
Helena starts to get ready
Hamish is ready
An unusual ring bearer
The boys make their way to the church
Helena moves rooms for the final stage of getting ready
Perfume (now remember to walk into it)
A lovely moment between brother and sister as dad watches on
Let's go
Hamish awaits
The beautiful Helena arrives
I love this shot just before going down the ailse
A nice view of the guests
Service underway
We're married
This shot won me an award in the recent AGWPJA competition.
You've got to love that car
Another beautiful moment
A great series, what do you think she has said?
The grounds have so many options for pictures
As do the feature rooms
One of my all time favourites
A spiral staircase, a beautiful bride - who could resist
These weddings are long days!!
How cool is this, your very own swing
The speeches kick off
Did he just say that?
Time to dance and a great dance it was
Late at night, a gazebo, a glass of bubbly and a beautiful bride - perfect
Ending the day with stories round the rather large camp fire
