Kat & Steven at Pembroke Lodge

It's cold and raining outside so what better day to update you with a wedding from last year that was full of sunshine and brightness. Kat and Steven were married at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park on a lovely Summer's day. Kat is from Sweden so the wedding was full of a mixture of Swedish and English traditions making for some great photographic moments.

Saturday's Wedding at Great Fosters

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Joanna and David at Great Fosters in Egham. A lovely couple, great guests and wonderful venue made this a really memorable wedding celebration.

As a preview I've picked a really emotive shot from the service just after they were pronounced husband and wife.

Sam & Scott at The Four Seasons

Our very good friends got married at the Four Seasons in Hook last year. An absolutely blazing hot day graced their wedding in this beautiful venue. It is always something special to be asked to photograph a close friends wedding as you are granted an insiders view on their day that you would never experience as their guest. We have known Sam and Scott for many years now and I'll take the opportunity to once again wish them a very happy marriage and long life together.

Perfect Wedding - December 2009

It appears that in the Christmas rush I missed a copy of Perfect Wedding magazine that featured one of my weddings. The December issue ran a feature on Claire and Ian's wedding at Great Fosters that ran to 5 pages. Fortunately the online version of the magazine is now featuring their wedding story too so I can show you that instead.

The Little RedBook

Photobucket

I am always trying to offer complimentary services to my wedding clients so today I am pleased to launch my latest service called "The Little Redbook".

Having already shot bridal boudoir pictures for some of my clients and now being regularly contacted to see if it was something I offered, I thought the time would be right to officially offer the service.

I appreciate that bridal boudoir is not for everyone but for those who like my style of photography and like the idea, it is now an available service too. To learn more about The Little Redbook Experience you'll have to go to my website and follow the RedBook link. www.eltonmogg.co.uk

Friendship, Family, Love & Laughter

Over Christmas I was delighted to receive my copy of "Friendship, Family, Love & Laughter". Regular readers will know that my picture of my daughter Rheya jumping the waves in East Wittering was selected from over 35,000 entries to be included in this book which is part of the International Fresh Milk photography competition. What makes it extra special is that legendary photographer Elliot Erwitt was judging the competition!

You can read full details of the Fresh Milk book via one of my posts here or visit the main website here: www.freshmilkphotos.com/

The book itself is absolutely beautiful and as you can see pretty big too, it is filled with amazing pictures throughout and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. They have also given an excellent credits section to all the photographers too which is great to see.

You can see it and buy it at Amazon by following this link. The reviews by Amazon readers are great too.

As you can see Rheya is pretty delighted to be in the book!

Happy New Year

It's been an amazing last decade for me with some obvious highlights. Having a Millennium wedding myself to the love of my life, then Dylan and Rheya coming along and finally building this business to it's current success has made me feel very lucky indeed. Lots more to come business wise this next decade, with the development of some new products and services and continuing to meet such wonderful couples in love who choose me to capture their special day for them.

So what better way to start the new decade than look back to my last wedding of the noughties. Jennifer & Andrew came all the way from the Cayman Islands to get married in a lovely little church in Wokingham with a reception held at the Berystede Hotel in Ascot. Why you ask would they come back from a hot sunny island to what was the wettest day in December? Family and friends is the answer, who are so important to them that they knew they could not ask them all out to the island but wanted very much to celebrate their marriage with them.

In a slight change this year I have decided to pick any image I like from the wedding as the preview rather than limit myself to just the details as before. So to start my next decade of blogging off the right way, I give you the beautiful bride.
