Christmas Countdown - 5 days to go

I took this detail shot at my first wedding of 2007 and it still stands out as one of my favourite images of the year. I think it has a very simple yet beautiful feel to it and the toning and spot colouring do not leap out at you on first look, you have to look a little deeper. This is something I always strive for when I do anything like this to my pictures and why this image makes my favourites list.
