Melanie & Stuart wed at Wotton House

On a blazingly hot summer's day Melanie & Stuart were married in the beautiful grounds of Wotton House. Making the most of the sunshine, the wedding was held in the lovely hidden gardens complete with roman style pillars and ornate water feature. After the service the lovely couple and their friends and family had the freedom of the hotel to create a relaxed, fun and memorable wedding day.

Carol & Iain wed in Cambridge

Carol & Iain tied the knot in Cambridge in a beautiful late afternoon service which continued on into an early evening barbecue in the grounds of the hotel. Carol was a bridesmaid at one of my previous weddings and it was lovely to see her transformation into the beautiful bride and enjoy a wedding full of love and happiness.

Three in a row

This months (November 2008) Perfect Wedding saw my third wedding in a row featured and I was delighted to discover it was Abby and David gracing the pages of the real life weddings section. Abby and David had a beautiful September wedding actually inside Hampton Court with a reception held at St Georges in Weybridge.

Congratulations to you both.

At the weekend

On Saturday I photographed the gorgeous wedding of Alison and Lee at the beautiful Northbrook Park in Surrey. Although it was a windy and wet affair there were some windows of opportunity for the lovely couple and their guests to enjoy the grounds and help create some memorable pictures. Here's a shot of the wedding rings until their full wedding story follows shortly.

Then on Sunday I photographed the beautiful wedding of Sarah and Jon at Loseley Park. After a memorable service not least for the comedic timing of the great Vicar, we dodged the rain showers and made the most of the lovely grounds Loseley has to offer. Here's a detail shot of the dress and flowers until their full wedding story follows.

Gemma & James wed in Wiltshire

Gemma & James got married on probably the most memorable date of the year 080808. Gemma was the third of a group of friends whose weddings I photographed this year so I had the pleasure of already knowing lots of people at this wedding and shooting them again. Gemma got ready at her parents cottage before the service and the reception was held in a huge marquee set up in the back garden especially for the day.

James had even gone as far as beautifully re-landscaping the whole garden to accommodate it as well as leaving a lasting thank you to the new in-laws for letting them use it. After a beautiful ceremony in St Mary's in Chilton Foliat, the lovely couple enjoyed a perfect day with family and friends and a party that went until the small hours.

The Love Bug

Can you think of a cooler way to arrive at your wedding than this? (I know my four year old couldn't).

On Saturday I photographed the beautiful wedding of Kate & Mark at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in West Byfleet with a reception held at The Englemere in Ascot. A VW Campervan escorted the bridesmaids, a stretch bug chaperoned the ushers and best man and an open top bug looked after the happy couple. Beautiful weather, a lovely venue and a fun loving couple helped make this a very memorable wedding day. Their full wedding story will follow on shortly.
