Perfect Wedding Magazine Feature - April 2008

I am delighted that one of my weddings from 2007 has been featured in the April 08 edition of Perfect Wedding Magazine. There's also my picture and some copy about me included in the main contributors section.




Helen & Paul were married in January 2007 at the beautiful Rhinefield House in the New Forest. Although it was a very cold day the couple and the venue combined to help create some really beautiful pictures. With a new arrival in their home it is lovely they will have a keepsake to show their kids when they grow up. Congratulations.

Loseley Park Website

I was very pleased to be asked by Loseley Park if they could use some of my images from weddings at Loseley to further illustrate their website this year. I will also be providing them with a new book on my wedding photography at Loseley Park to show to potential clients when they view the venue.

SCL

I recently shot some new promotional images for the company SCL who specialise in childcare provision for 4-12 year olds with the ethos of education through sport. They organise all kinds of activities for them over the school holidays at various locations throughout the south of England. The brief was to capture kids having fun and above you can see the front of the new brochure with the kids doing exactly that.

Current Exhibitions

If you like portrait photography you could do a lot worse than get yourself down to the National Portrait Gallery in London where there is a current exhibition of photography from one of the giants of the magazine industry in Vanity Fair.

"This remarkable exhibition showcases 150 portraits including classic images from Vanity Fair's early period, displayed for the first time alongside photographs featured in the magazine since its re-launch in 1983".

The exhibition runs from 14 February - 26 May 2008.

Nice Idea - Jenga Guest Book

I thought it was about time I updated my nice ideas part of this blog so I'll be trawling through last years weddings to find some ideas and inspiration for you.

As wedding guest books go this one has to be one of the most unusual. Caroline & Tim handed out the Jenga game to their guests who each took a block on which to write their message to the happy couple. Not only a fun and different way to engage the guests but also something that will bring back all the memories for years to come every time you play the game.
