[AG] WPJA

Photobucket

I am absolutely delighted to say that today I have been accepted into The Artistic Guild of The Wedding Photojournalist Association.

It's probably best I let their words describe what they do and the photographers they represent:

"The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA is a group of international wedding photojournalists, who capture unscripted wedding moments as they happen, and excel in the art of post-production image processing. The [AG]WPJA is a division within the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA); one which specifically promotes Fine Art Wedding Photojournalism

The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA is comprised of outstanding wedding photographers, who are at the forefront of the wedding photography industry when it comes to enhancing images. The chief objective of the [AG]WPJA is to provide members with a platform where the finest enhanced, manipulated and/or artistic wedding photojournalism in the world is spotlighted and promoted for the bride and groom.

The [AG]WPJA is a separate division of the Wedding Photojournalist Association(WPJA). Whereas the WPJA upholds strict guidelines that forbid excessive picture manipulation, the [AG]WPJA encourages and fosters creative image enhancement, with the vision of promoting Fine Art Wedding Photojournalists.

As there are currently only 9 members working in England of the artistic guild I am over the moon to join their ranks. To learn more about this great association and see some beautiful wedding imagery please visit them by clicking AGWPJA

Last Weekend

On Saturday I photographed the wedding of the lovely Leah and Grant at St Mary Abbotts Church on Kensington High Street. It was a very humid day and this was a wedding full of love, fun, kids and dancing. As ever their full wedding story will follow shortly but for now here is a picture of Leah's lovely dress.

Then on Sunday I photographed the beautiful wedding of Tracy and Robert at Loseley Park. A very hot sunny day was enjoyed by the bride and groom and all their guests as it gave plenty of opportunity to explore the lovely grounds throughout the day. Also offering me so many great photo opportunities and a lovely light late into the evening. Their full wedding story will also follow shortly but here is a shot of Tracy's shoes, shot on the glass table that was also part of the floor of the first floor getting ready room. Very cool.

Rachael & Fergus wed on HMS Warrior

The lovely Rachael & Fergus tied the knot in the historic Portsmouth Docks on board the HMS Warrior. Everyone was treated to a very personal and emotional service below decks and then had the run of the ship for an hour afterwards. The reception was held at the Royal Naval Officers Ward Room, a building steeped in history with beautiful rooms and paintings throughout.

Laura & Stuart at All Saints

After a beautiful service at All Saints Church in Binfield, Laura and Stuart went to celebrate their reception at Great Fosters in Egham. The rose gardens were absolutely teeming with flowers and by simply adding the lovely bride and groom made for some amazing pictures. Stuart had secretly made a little fairy garden as a surprise for Laura at the venue and all their guests enjoyed the orangery and the gardens it offered to the full.

Email Outage

Over the last few days my server experienced an outage that prevented any emails from being sent or received. If you tried to email me recently (2-3 days) up until 4pm on Tuesday I'm sorry I may not have received your mail so please do send it again. Sorry for the inconvenience but everything seems to be working properly again now.

Lisa & Chris wed at Easthampstead Park

Easthampstead Park hosted the beautiful wedding of Lisa & Chris on a bright and warm summers day. All in one location, the couple and guests had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the lovely grounds at a fun, emotional and memorable wedding day.
