Cathy & Robert wed at Dulwich College, London

The lovely Cathy & Robert tied the knot at the beautiful Old Library building within Dulwich College. Although the forecast had not been good the rain stayed away and the bride and groom and their guests made full use of their beautiful surroundings to help create some very memorable images. With their daughter acting as a beautiful little flower girl the service and day was an emotional and fun time for everyone.

Nicky & Chris wed at Lythe Hill

A beautiful mid May wedding was held at Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa in Haslemere by Nicky and Chris. Chris works for the RAF and wore his full uniform for the special day and was only matched by the beautiful brides choice of dress. An emotional service was enjoyed by all and after the happy couple had said I do, the guests had the freedom to roam the grounds and spend time by the lakeside before their meal and dancing into the night.

With a lot of help...

laura
I've been trying for quite a while now to show my images in my blog at a bigger size and finally with a lot of help from a friend I think we've cracked it. It's not perfect yet so please bear with me whilst I tweak the layout as blogger does not give you great previews so you have to run your tests live sometimes. Also the previous posts will now not be perfectly aligned within the new size template, apologies for this but there is nothing I can do to mix the two different sizes.

I may not post quite as many images in every post now but the ones I do post should be that much better to look at. Hope you like the improvement. And thanks Shirin.

Rachael's Ship (for the day)

A strange title but as there was no shoe shot for this wedding I thought for a change I'd focus on the venue. There are times in this country when you think about the weather and how dull and grey it can all be but I've realised I am also blessed with some pretty amazing and historic venues to shoot my weddings in. This was my first experience of the HMS Warrior at Portsmouth and it was a wedding that was as fascinating as it was beautiful to capture.

Rachael and Fergus were married on Saturday aboard the Warrior and held their reception just up the road at the Royal Naval Officers Ward Room, another building steeped in history. Their full wedding story will follow shortly.

Laura's shoes

On Friday I shot the wedding of Laura & Stuart at All Saints Church in Binfield, followed by a reception at Great Fosters. Unfortunately Laura's initial photographer was unable to shoot her wedding due to a car crash from which I wish him a very speedy recovery. You are never happy getting to shoot a wedding this way but I am glad I was available to capture this lovely couples beautiful wedding day for them.

I couldn't resist putting Laura's shoes in amongst the lovely colours of these fallen petals to make one of my favourite shoe shots of the year so far. As ever their full wedding story will follow shortly.

Lisa's shoes

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa & Chris's beautiful wedding at Easthampstead Park. A picturesque venue and sunny skies gave plenty of opportunity for some great pictures of the happy couple and their guests. I particuarly enjoyed their first dance which went down a storm. As ever their full wedding story will follow shortly and here are Lisa's Rainbow shoes for now.

Sarah's shoes and diamonds

On Saturday I photographed the beautiful wedding of Sarah and Richard at Loseley Park, one of my favourite venues. Graced with beautiful weather and a garden in full bloom this wedding certainly had plenty of opportunities for memorable pictures. As ever their full wedding story will follow shortly but here's a preview of the brides shoes and pretty big diamonds I have to say.

Tess & Trevor wed at Buxted Park

On an incredibly hot day in May, Tess and Trevor said I do at the beautiful Buxted Park in East Sussex. I met Tess & Trevor at the wedding of their friends Helen & Rob and it is always nice to be able to make new friends and see old ones at my weddings. The whole day took place at the one venue which made for a relaxed and very memorable wedding day. This wedding amongst many features had a cinema for the kids, a ferrari, last minute dress cuttings and a perfect summers day in Spring.

Oblivious to it all as he was on a high score after all

One of my favourite shots of the year so far, bridesmaid one standing on a chair, bridesmaid two hurridly cutting the overly long petticoat with just minutes to spare. Classic.

The dress is prepped and what a dress.

Another favourite as the bridal party enter the conservatory

Where's your shoes?

I saw this corridor in the morning and thought it'd make a good shot but it just didn't happen, so I was delighted to spy the newlyweds making their way through it later in the afternoon and managed to capture this just in time.

A nice moment whilst they wait to be called to dinner

Speeches get some added participation

After the food I got some more time in the late evening light to take some more portraits
