Keshana's Shoes

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Keshana and Sujeevan's second wedding reception at the Hilton International, Croydon. A very lavish affair full of colour, noise and excitement meant for some great photo opportunities.

Here are Keshana's shoes - thats some heel. Their full wedding story will follow shortly.

Kate & Dan Wed at Romsey Cathedral

On Saturday 21st July, Kate and Dan tied the knot at the imposing Romsey Cathedral. They were then supposed to be heading off to a marquee reception by the river on the Broadlands Estate. Unfortunately due to the non existent English summer their plans were washed away.

With great spirit, hard work and help from their friends and family they managed to create, in just over a day, a beautiful reception venue in the local Romsey village hall. I am sure the old hall has never looked so good and it just goes to prove how you can create a fantastic wedding look for any venue at all.

Replete with bunting, picnic hampers, tons of flowers, a jazz band, some very happy guests and a loving and high spirited just married couple this wedding showed that the weather really has nothing to do with making a wedding day special.

Anne & Brian Wed at The Sandbanks in Poole

On the 14th July, Anne & Brian enjoyed some glorious English sunshine by the beautiful Sandbanks coastline. Getting married in the Sandbanks hotel overlooking the beach was a very memorable and picturesque location which both the guests and myself enjoyed to it's fullest. It's not often you can get bridal pictures on the beaches of England and certainly a rarity so far this year.

Anne & Brian layed on some fantastic entertainment for their guests with a youth Samba band to kick things off before dinner, getting not just the guests but the entire hotel and all the sunworshippers jumping!

After the speeches with both English and French translations (Anne is French) and Brian making a heroic effort to repeat his speech in French for his new in-laws and extended family, the party kicked off in the large conservatory and lit up the beach until the early hours.

The Red Shoes

On Saturday 28th July, I photographed the wedding of Jeff & Mel in North Devon at the georgeous Crediton Church and Northcote Manor. Jeff is the brother of Mike, one of my grooms from last year so it was great to be able to catch up with new friends as well as capture all of the days fun. The day was a little wet but it certainly didn't dampen anyone's spirits.

Here's Mel's beautiful red shoes and as usual their full wedding story will follow shortly.
