New Years Eve Wedding

Charlie and Matt tied the knot on New Years Eve at the lovely Tylney Hall in Hook. Not only were they celebrating their marriage and seeing in 2007, it was also the grooms birthday!

After an emotional service in which Charlie's brother gave her away, the couple and the bridesmaids braved the elements to capture some pictures out in one of the covered turrets, creating some very atmospheric shots.

The big evening celebration followed and I was fortunate to have some time with Charlie to create some very memorable portraits on Tylney's famous staircase. 2007 was ushered in with a fork tied to big stick - used to burst some huge confetti filled balloons over the dance floor.

You & Your Wedding Magazine Feature

I'm delighted to say that one of my weddings from last year is featured in the current March/April 2007 edition of You & Your Wedding magazine. Katie & Chris got married in a church in Bracknell with a reception held at The Ivy in London. Chris is American and Katie is dual nationality so they flew over specially, along with their family for a lovely English wedding.

Congratulations to you both.

Louise & Paul Wed at Chewton Glen

On 22nd December, Lousie and Paul got married at the five star Chewton Glen Hotel and Country Club in the New Forest.

A small wedding catered for guests from all over the world but mostly from South Africa making this Christmas wedding a truly special family occasion.

The beautiful grounds and interiors gave ample scope for some great photo opportunities including having access to the fantastic spa complex that made for some unusual but very memorable and beautiful wedding pictures. The weather was very kind to us with the fog that seemed to envelope everywhere else not touching this part of the New Forest.

Louise & Paul are a lovely couple, very much in love and photographing their wedding just days before Christmas was a real pleasure for me and a great way to start my Christmas holidays.

Thank You

A warm thank you to my hosts at Losely Park on Sunday who put on a really lovely wedding fair in such a great location. Of course a very special thank you also to the couples who booked me on the day and have since booked me for their weddings. I really look forward to capturing your special day.

I met some fantastic wedding suppliers there too and will definately be doing some features on them and their businesses on here soon.

It's great to meet so many happy couples planning their wedding all in one place, it helps me appreciate just how lucky I am to be capturing images that are all about the happiest moments in life.
