Rock My Wedding Feature - Stand by Me

I was delighted today to see that Ceri and Martin's wedding at Rownton Castle has been featured on the fabulous Rock my Wedding website.  If you do not know about Rock my Wedding then I'd seriously recommend checking them out for all that is good and great for planning your wedding.

Best of Artists Presents - Worldwide Photography Vol II

I was delighted to find out that my work has been included in the new book by Best of Artists. The book my work is featured in is biased towards Worldwide Photography Artists working today and is one of many titles they create each year.  They have used three images of mine from my weddings and it is great to see that wedding images are starting to be included in anthologies like this as there is so much more to wedding photography than initially meets the eye. Nadine & Simon's wedding at Gorse Hill

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Nadine and Simon at the Gorse Hill Hotel in Woking.  This is a really lovely venue for a wedding with some gorgeous rooms and gardens and a very personal feel.  Perfect for the intimate wedding of the equally gorgeous Nadine and Simon who had 30 of their closest family and friends with them to celebrate their wedding during the day and then a further one hundred friends came in the evening to see the couple off in style.

Well, I guess a lot of you may feel it's about time and you are of course right.  So, finally I have just launched my own facebook page for Elton Mogg Photography.  I will of course still be updating this blog with all my latest work and pictures but also intend to use facebook to throw in the odd preview picture or two from recent weddings and other shoots, detail any offers I'm currently running as well as hopefully allow you and anyone else interested an easier way to contact and engage with me about my work, your wedding or photography shoot or even just so you can pop in and say Hi...

Reflection Shoot

Just after New Year I spent a lovely morning photographing Nick and his two daughters, firstly on their favourite family walk with the dog and secondly back at the house with some lighting set ups.  The brief was lots of shots of the girls on their own and together as the walls of his house (and of course their facebook walls too no doubt!) had plenty of space for some new pictures.
