Emma & Nathan wedding in Cradley

Emma & Nathan were married at the Church of St James the Great in Cradley, Worcestershire. They then held their reception at the beautiful home of Emma's parents. A very windy and wet day greeted the lovely couple who actually live in San Diego so it must have been some adaptation for them to our lovely unpredictable weather. But in true British spirit the day was an amazing success and the rain never bothered a soul. There was the odd window of opportunity in between showers which I made the most of outside as did the kids! A very memorable and beautiful wedding to photograph. Marianne & Charles wedding in Leafield, Cotswolds

Marianne & Charles were married at St Michael's Church in Leafield in the Cotswolds.  Marianne got ready at the Bell Hotel in Charlbury and then made the short journey through the countryside to the church.  We actually had a sunny June day in the middle of what must be one of the wettest on record so everyone made full use of the sunshine to celebrate this gorgeous couples love.  After the ceremony everyone walked round the back of the church to the vicarage where Charles parents hosted a lovely reception party in the gardens.  This was not only a coming together of friends and family but also of England and Sweden with Marianne from Sweden marrying her English gent, Charles.  Their love was there for all to see and the whole day was full of great picture opportunities.

Louise and Sam's wedding at Chalbury Church and home

Louise and Sam were married at Chalbury Church in Dorset and then held their very personal reception in the grounds of Louise's mothers house. A gorgeous home with swimming pool, ornamental lake and plenty of space for a marquee with games for all the guests. A beautiful day of sunshine helped make this a memorable wedding to photograph with tonnes of personal touches and a really lovely couple.

Leah & Nick's wedding at The Anchor Inn

Finally after what felt like weeks of rain, I saw some sunshine at my wedding on Friday. It was also followed by another day of sunshine for my second wedding this weekend, but more of that later.

I was delighted when Nick contacted me to shoot his special day as I had photographed his brothers wedding in France back in September 2006 so it was great to see some familiar faces at Leah and Nick's celebration in Lower Froyle.

This gorgeous couple wanted a very relaxed occasion with their closest family and friends and picked a beautiful English pub to host their wedding. Although myself and virtually all the guests were constantly on guard from the perilous dangers of incredibly low beamed ceilings, this place had such a unique and special feel to it that fitted in perfectly with what Leah and Nick were hoping for. It even had a white picket fence and field full of yellow flowers as a beautiful backdrop to a very special and memorable wedding day.

Here are just a few preview shots from the day. Photobucket Had to comment on this first one as I just loved the tire treads through a blanket of blossom Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Visit the Elton Mogg Photography website
